Well, we are still trying to settle on a name for it...for the moment I like Brag Provisions: a provider of quality, locally handcrafted metal and wood props for weddings and events. This idea won't happen over night, but I'm taking baby steps to make happen and I will get there...and this will not be your average event rental stuff!

With my sweetie Nate as the skilled wood craftsman and me as the metal mama, we will have artisan made candelabras, table centerpieces, flower stands, easels, cake risers, arbors, accent tables and much, much more! With a solid professional background, a hand in event production, an eye for interior design and a passion for creating quality metal and wood work, Brag Provisions will bring Austin the BEST in event decor rentals. Here is a quick snapshot of the first set of 3 cascading candelabras. Ideal for an event with a more modern design but with a warm, playful feel. The cascading candelabras will have table centerpiece accompaniments with a similar design theme. The tallest candelabra is approx. 4 ft tall with a sturdy base and can be adorned with flowers in addition to the candles or in place of the candles. Stay tuned for more. It takes time to create quality crafted work, but it'll be worth your wait!

We will be working on some other pieces, variations of the fishies as well. I recently had the pleasure of seeing this machine again. This is the welder that my Dad and all my Uncles learned to weld on in the early 70's! My Uncle Charlie still has it in his shop. It originally came out of the Union Hall Apprentice School where they all spent some time learning to weld and my Grandpa Cotton was the President.
What a beautiful machine. I hope to be able to use this image, or a slightly modified version in one of my graphics for Iron Root Industry Wear. A line of clothing with artfully designed graphics for the fellow welders of the world, whether they be pipliners, fitter, fabricators, blacksmiths or artists. We manifest our work in different ways but we all share a common thread: the process.
